Music video ideas

Audio Elements:

-A Rap/HipHop song with melodic elements 

-The lyrical content focusses on my ambitions and portrays a vision in which I have made it through music 

Visual Elements:

The dark atmoshpere of this project fits with the themes we want to include in our music video. The locations are shot in very dark areas and lighting is used in very unique ways to put focus on the artists while contrasting the locations

Sections of the music video will be animated similar to this. 

Maybe less smooth , more stilted shots, and we could use rotoscoping 

If we decide to shoot live footage we will include very dynamic animation inspired by music videos such as Lyrical Lemonade

We will make animated transition like the ones seen in this music video 

This music video for Kanye West's song vultures uses AI in very interesting ways that may inspire us when we are story boarding our song

The story elements that are included in this music video are something that we may also delve into

-Car Park

-dark alley ways 

-Since the track references my home town we may shoot some shoot in Doncaster 

-On a train or on in a train station 

-A wide shot of me on a balcony or on a building 

-A shot in a pub or bar 

Production design:

-Dark themes

-Shoot in very dark and Brocken areas of Manchester and Doncaster

Camera Activity 

-music videos are often not still or static they move with the rhythm or pace with to match with the tune 

-they would use a Jib/Crane/Ronin/Drone and Osmo (an osmo "is a poor mans way of shooting steady") 

Edit speed 

-cutting to the beat is the perfect way to maintain rhythm 

-a great example of this is the opening to Neon Genesis Evangelion which uses this very effective.

Equipment 

-lighting-creative set up/ you have move creative freedom when it comes to a music video. don't have to worry about sound recording you just need visual diversity 

-high quality cam

-fluid movement
